God On Trial is a bold look at an individual's struggle with good and evil throughout his chaotic life. Steve, the main character in this fictional account, is overwhelmed by thoughts and rituals that consume his time due to his severe anxiety disorder. This condition known widely as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder(OCD) keeps Steve in a dark state of mind and causes him to question his existence, God, and even his fear of the devil.
The book is also at the forefront in its portrayal of the parents'of a mentally ill young man who try desperately to reach their son with both love and understanding. There is much anguish and pain for the family who would not wish such a horror on their worst enemy.
