About the Author

Evan Wechman is a middle-aged man who is fascinated with the study of faith, religion, and mental health. He has suffered from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder(OCD) since childhood and has been exposed to various faiths during his lifetime. He is uniquely qualified to write on this evil disease and its link to religion. This is due to his own involvement with obsessive rituals concerning faith and the fact that though Jewish by birth, he has often flirted with ideas of other religions. Though Mr. Wechman believes that most jews are secular, he contends that Christ is not the only path to salvation. He has spent his life in temples and churches, often switching faiths. However, just as the main character in this gripping novella comes to find his own path to a higher ground, the author is done searching as well.
